In this chapter, you will complete three types of assignments.
Finish all tasks and upload any required files to your Google Drive in the Module 6 folder.
- Experiment + Quiz: Try out an AI activity (using your TWU Google Gemini account) and complete the Module 6 multiple-choice quiz in Google Forms.
- Short Answer: Choose 3 of the 4 prompts provided and write responses of a few paragraphs each in a Google Doc. Save and upload to your Module 6 folder.
- Reflection Journal: Compile all of your responses to the green-box reflection prompts from across this module into your Reflection Journal document. Save and upload to your Module 6 folder.

- Experiment with AI (not graded, no submission required):
- Navigate to your Gemini AI account. Find its privacy dashboard/terms of conditions and review your current settings. Analyze the default settings, and consider what you might change in the privacy settings, if anything at all, and why.

- Under what circumstances, if any, would you consent to an AI recording, analyzing, or summarizing your work?
- Prompt 2:
- Are individuals in your organization (students, staff, or faculty) aware of how their data is used by institutional AI tools? How can you help others in your professional or personal life become more aware of how their data is used by AI?
- Prompt 3:
- Reflecting on the content from this module, discuss how the concepts of data privacy and security in this module might influence your future use of AI technology.
- Prompt 4:
- Imagine a university adopts AI systems for grading, advising, or tracking student progress. What privacy concerns might arise for students? How could educators address those concerns while still benefiting from the technology?
